# Logic Lock V2 Now Available!
**<span class="theme-color">Logic Lock</span>** has a new version containing a stronger generation algorithm as well customizations to how the generation works. It is exclusively available for free in the [Apple Store](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/logic-lock/id1640553679). With this update, we have introduced the pattern and character set builder features, a native Mac OS binary, and a simplified UI. ### Pattern & Character Set Builders

<h4>Pattern Builder</h4>
The Pattern Builder is a feature that allows the user to customize the pattern of your generated password. If you desire a password that follows a specific sequence such as XXXX-XXXX-XXXX or #Word_Word!#Word, or anything else for that matter, it is totally possible! We suggest a few defaults if you don't have one in mind, but it is completely up to you. Patterns are defined per account, so you can create different patterns for different accounts if you wish. </br></br>

<h4>Character Set Builder</h4>
Some sites prohibit certain characters from being used in your password. The Character Set Builder is a feature that allows the user to customize which characters are allowed or excluded from their passwords. This customization is on an account basis, so excluding a given character for one site will not affect the generation of another password for another site. We suggest a few different character sets, but the final set is completely up to you.</br></br>

## Native MacOS Build
This should be seamless to you, however having a native MacOS version allows us to take advantage of the OS specific features at a platform level. It means not having any of the issues that are commonly present with Catalyst. If you never noticed any issues, then that is great! But for us, it was the right thing to do.
   
## Updated UI
Logic Logic has a simplified 'card' like UI refresh and now shows the last time the password was rotated. The account details also has a UI overhaul including separating the properties that are responsible for generating your password from general properties. We have added the ability to mark an account as a favorite and to filter based only on your marked favorites.
  
## Previous Features
Of course, the previous features you loved, including Sanity Assistant, QR Sharing, Import & Export, and icons, are still available. </br>
